MC Mode

In the Wild West, anyone can make a name for themselves; the same goes for The City and Cargo Carrier Ship. Whether you’re in the new generation or contemporary, MyCAREER offers a wellspring of opportunities to duel players from around the world on the court and gain notoriety as an elite rogue. Season 2 features themed Wild West courses and artwork, setting the stage for some high-scoring shootouts. Challenge matches and earn experience points to redeem for brand new rewards, including a new jump shot meter and release, skeleton costume, and level 40 Jabbawockeez costume. Now it’s time to get ready for the NBA regular season and the spooky season of NBA 2K23.

The Wild West sets the scene for season 2, but you’ll also experience the fun and fear of Halloween. Immerse yourself in the Halloween spirit as we engage in some spooky activities during October. The Long Night returns, dropping 24 hours of night shadows over the city. Hit the court under the cover of darkness and illuminate your defenders with a three-point spell. Grab your pillowcase, put on your best costume, enjoy a night of trick-or-treating, and visit select locations for holiday rewards.

MT Mode

Season 2’s Level 40 bonus is our featured player, Devin Booker! The Sun’s guard and NBA 2K23 cover athlete will be available as a Pink Diamond for those who reach level 40 in experience value over the next six weeks. Those who have experienced his Sapphire pre-order or his Ruby Series 1 card know the potential of the Booker player card on the MyTEAM court, and this Level 40 bonus showcases his shooting, scoring, and all-around playmaking to lead your best lineups!

Start your journey with the Level 1 bonus, free agent Nikola Jokic! Fresh off back-to-back MVP seasons, this free agent lets everyone experience what makes Jokic great in MyTEAM and start gaining experience value. You can also look forward to adding Emerald Trey Jones, Bogdan Bogdanovich Sapphire Hotel, and Ruby Michal Thompson as you head to level 40. Each of these rewards has an exclusive agenda for you to earn more experience points, as well as a new spotlight challenge to improve your MyTEAM.

At level 32, everyone gets a non-auctionable version of the Amethyst Zion Williamson card from the Season 1 Intensity release! Seeing Zion back on the field not only inspired us to add his Amethyst to the Season 2 level rewards, but the card will also feature a new dynamic duo that includes the season bonus Emerald Tre Jones. This earnable duo from Tre &Zion’s college days will bring back memories of 2019 and boost them with boosted attributes, badges, and overall ratings!

Back to the modern NBA, let’s talk moments. With ’23 NBA: Series 1 cards representing the current roster of the token market, adding completion bonuses, XP and special moments to reward players with the moment agenda needed will be easier than ever!

How many collections have you completed in the trophy case?

Each NBA franchise has 15 earned event cards celebrating various moments and achievements for each team, and each collection has a completion bonus for a powerful Pink Diamond player. In Season 1, you can complete a total of 5 collections, and if they come from the same division, they also offer the first Galaxy Opal player card in NBA 2K23’s MyTEAM!

In Season 2, everyone will have even more options to complete their Trophy Case collection. In fact, over 10 “hub” exchange cards will be available for you to take to The Exchange to select the team rarities to add to your trophy case. Yes, that means that by the end of Season 2, some of the truly elite members of the MyTEAM community will be playing with 99 Dark Matter Julius Owen or Tim Duncan! To earn these cards, they will need to complete a collection of 15 trophy cases from either the Eastern or Western Conference.

While the prospect of encountering Dark Matter online in MyTEAM is rightfully daunting, know that adding all of these additional hub cards to MyTEAM will give everyone more chances to complete the Trophy Box Collection. Look for these additions throughout MyTEAM, including centerpieces and other trophy case cards with your friends in Triple Threat Online: Co-Op!

To start Season 2, you can look forward to an improved theme for our seasonal decks. Season 2 Select Cards will return, but instead of repeating Vol. 1, Vol. 2, and Vol. 3, with bi-weekly player cards that will be uniquely themed, we’ll start with some Halloween-themed cards. Remember, these cards will leave the marketplace in two weeks on November 4 and all of these collections will once again be rewarded with new rewards for player completion.

One more thing, if you hold any of the prize balls in your collection, be sure to use them and have them open up hidden rewards. You’ll want to have your basketball card slots open and ready to go when Halloween rolls around.
