Each player’s inventory in Diablo 4 consists of 11 columns and 3 rows for 33 slots. Each class has specific item slots, and they can add new items to their particular slots as they find them across the world of Diablo 4. Below we will introduce in detail what item slots are available in Diablo 4.

Armor slots
Characters in Diablo 4 have five armor slots:
- Helm
- Chest
- Gloves
- Legs
- Boots
The shoulder slot has been removed in Diablo 4 and merged into the chest slot for aesthetic reasons.
Jewelry slots
Characters in Diablo 4 have three jewelry slots:
- Amulet
- Ring 1
- Ring 2
Players can socket gems into their gear but need a gem slot. Some gear drops already have gem slots, while other equipment requires players to use the jeweler to add a gem slot. The jeweler also allows players to unsocket gems from their gear for a small gold cost, which removes the gem for later use and reopens the slot to enable a new gem to be socketed.
Weapon slots
Diablo 4, all classes have a leading hand and an off-hand slot that can hold weapons, shields, or other items that fit the category.
The Barbarian has four weapon slots:
- 1 Two-Handed Bludgeoning Weapon
- 1 Two-Handed Slashing Weapon
- 2 One-Handed Weapons
Druids have 2 slots:
- 1 One-Handed Weapon + 1 Off-Hand (Totem)
- 1 Two-Handed Weapon
The Necromancer has 2 slots:
- 1 One-Handed Weapon + 1 Off-Hand
- 1 Two-Handed Weapon
Rogues have 3 Weapon slots:
- 1 Ranged Weapon (Bow or Crossbow)
- 2 One-Handed Weapons (Daggers or Small Swords)
The Sorcerer has 2 slots:
- 1 One-Handed Weapon (Wand) + 1 Off-Hand (Focus)
- 1 Two-Handed Stave
We need to install some powerful items in these slots to build a powerful character. To get the required items faster, we can use Diablo 4 gold to buy.
